Hi everyone, I have Geology extra credit due in like 2 and a half hours. I hope someone can help me!
Question: There is a huge batholith in the northwestern part of Idaho. What can you say about the landscape in that area. Explain your answer.|||The Idaho Batholith is very much like other similar Batholithic structures in other parts of the world where Orogeny is likely. Wherever there is mountain-building and Tectonic shifting going on, there is likelihood of seeing some sort of a Batholithic structure in the landscape. Southern Oregon also has one, known as The Grants Pass Batholith. The one in Oregon is made up of a sort of Decomposed Granite, while the Idaho one may be made up of a different rock type, but it is still a Batholithic structure. I hope this helps. Good luck.
